Purchased back in February 2006, the 1973 Holden HQ GTS Monaro Custom Purple was originally found cluttering up a suburban front lawn. It was intended to be a quick build as a burnout car, but the owner had bigger plans in mind. After straightening out the rough old body, adding a factory sunroof, and fitting mini tubs, the car was transformed into a powerhouse.
The owner built the car with a 505 cubic inch engine, featuring an 8/71 Blower Shop pump and twin 750 cfm boost referenced Demon Carbs. With a custom hydraulic roller stick calling the shots, this car packs a punch with 750 horsepower at the wheels. It's capable of frying tires at any speed and has been known to eat through a pair of 17s in just a minute on the pad.
Since its build, the DDA 1/24 Hanful has made appearances at prestigious shows such as Motor Ex and has become a crowd favorite at events like Powercruise and Power Play. It has even entertained crowds at mainstream events like the Gold Coast 600 for many years.
This limited edition resin model car features a diecast chassis and fully detailed design, with opening doors for added realism. The color of this model is a striking purple, and it is powered by a big block Chevy engine with twin 750 double pumper carburetors. Don't miss your chance to own this impressive and rare model car.
