Fagan & Whalley was founded in 1927 in the village of Hapton, situated in the middle of the Lancashire cotton belt. The business has always maintained strong links with the textile industry and it endured the recession of the 1930's, through the war years to the 1950's, to a period when Lancashire cotton was "King". The present proprietors are proud of the fact that the business still remains a family concern since its humble beginnings with a horse and cart. The fleet of vehicles has grown over the years and goes from vans to 44 tonners, the majority of which are Scania powered, handling a variety of goods from car parts to plastics.
